Donor Spotlight: Tony Cusati, President Sitter Insurance

What better way to see your donation at work than to get directly involved with the organization you are supporting? Tony Cusati can personally attest to that, having once been an Asbury Woods board member. “I was close with an Erie Insurance representative who previously sat on the board. With their encouragement, I joined the board to support Asbury Woods’ land preservation and educational offerings. I was lucky to serve as a board member for six years, during which time the organization grew into the mature and stable organization that it is today."

The outdoors has always been important to Tony. Growing up outside of Philadelphia, he was active in scouting and spent a lot of time hiking and sailing. “Where I grew up, we had a lot of hiking and running trails.”

Today his connection to Asbury Woods is family time. “Having Asbury Woods as a place to enjoy time with family and friends reminds me of my youth. Whether it is strolling the boardwalk, hiking the trails, or watching my kids simply have fun at the endless events year-round, Asbury Woods is especially important to our family and the entire community.”

As for his financial support, Tony had this to say, “donations and corporate sponsorships to Asbury Woods are a no-brainer for me. Not only does Asbury Woods preserve the precious natural land, but it also provides free access and education to all community members.”
