Exploring Vernal Pools![vernal pool]()
Asbury Woods is a great place to explore important habitats called vernal pools. These temporary wetlands nurseries for frogs and salamanders, and home to many other animals. Data that we collect, as citizen scientists, will also be sent to the PA Natural Heritage Program and will serve to inform our overall knowledge of vernal pools in the state.
