ASBURY WOODS TO HOST WINTER WONDERLAND

Asbury Woods invites the community to stroll along the boardwalk adjacent to the Andrew J. Conner Nature Center and enjoy the holiday light display. The festive lights will twinkle in the woods along the fully accessible boardwalk, covering 1/3 of a mile, and is great for all ages and abilities. Visitors are also invited to stop inside the Nature Center to view our animal exhibits, browse the gift shop for exclusive holiday items, take in the sprawling holiday-themed train display put on each year by the Shaw family, and, new this year, purchase hot chocolate and holiday snacks.

Also new this year is extended holiday fun on Fridays and Saturdays. The Asbury Woods Picnic Pavilion will be open to the public with an outdoor fire and live music from local artists. Visitors can sit by the fire with hot chocolate and snacks, then head inside to warm up with a family-friendly craft
in our new Winter Wonderland craft room!

Admission to this event is free, with a suggested donation of $5 per person to help support the mission at Asbury Woods. Returning this year, anyone who donates any amount will receive a delightful pair of holiday specs to enhance their viewing experience! Look at the lights through the
glasses and magically see Christmas trees.

“We are excited to continue the tradition of Winter Wonderland at Asbury Woods with new additions to add to the fun! Live music, hot chocolate, and crafting will add to the decades-long tradition of enjoying lights in the Woods, while supporting our mission to inspire a greater connection to nature,”
said Sarah Bennett, Executive Director. Winter Wonderland at Asbury Woods
