Owl prowl hikes are a consistently popular program so we're offing them twice! One program is dedicated for families with a younger audience and the other is for adults.
Owl Prowl for Adults

This program will include an indoor interpretive talk as we explore the world of owls. Then we’ll head outside for a hike or snowshoe walk in the woods, conditions permitting. One of the group leaders will use his voice to attempt to call in a real Barred Owl for all to hear and hopefully see. After the hike hot chocolate will be served to warm everyone up.

Dress warmly and enjoy a casual evening visit to Asbury Woods. We’ll learn about the many owls of PA and even dissect an owl pellet. Then we’ll head outdoors for a hike (or snowshoe walk, weather permitting). We’ll learn to call for owls on our night hike then warm up afterwards with hot chocolate by the fireplace!
