Looking for something wild to do? Stop in each Saturday morning to discover something new about the natural world. Each week, Asbury Woods will offer a new experience that could include an animal meet-and-greet, a science experiment, a nature art project, a guided hike, and more.

January 22: How "Cool" is That?

Many animals have adaptations, or special things about their body or behavior, that help them survive when the temperatures are low. One of the most interesting cold-weather adaptations is BLUBBER! Visit our Drop In and Discover station to put blubber to the test and learn how it is an important insulator for many familiar animals.
