Honey Harvest Festival – Saturday, September 27th, 10:30 am – 3:00 pm at the Nature Center. Various volunteer opportunities are available for both students and adults.
Scary Creature Feature – Friday and Saturday, October 10th and 11th, 5:30 – 9:00 to 10:00 pm at the Nature Center. Craft, food area, storytelling and tour guide volunteers are needed for this two evening event.
Holiday Lights- Volunteers are needed to hang lights on the grounds and trails of the Nature Center on the following Saturdays in October, the 4th, 18th and 25th , from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. The holiday lights are a part of Winter Wonderland, which is held in December.
Adult Volunteer Opportunites
Pumpkin Carving – Thursday, October 9th, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Nature Center, volunteers are needed to carve pumpkins for Scary Creature Feature.
Gift Shop Sub Volunteers—Volunteers are needed during the school year from 10 am—4 pm, Tuesday – Friday to sub in the Squeaky Frog Gift Shop has needed. Weekend hours are also available.
Volunteer Educators— Volunteers assist in teaching school groups during the school year. Training provided and clearances required.
