Northern Section
The Greenway Trail is accessible from three points:
1) From the nature center follow white blazes (1.4 miles to creek)
2) From
the small picnic shelter on Asbury Road north of Asbury Barn, follow white blazes (1.2 miles to creek)
3) From the large picnic shelter behind Asbury Barn, follow yellow blazes to small creek, cross
bridge and follow white blazes (1.0 miles to creek)
Southern Section (At Browns Farms on Sterrettania Road)
Trails consist of mowed trail in an old field and a wooded section
overlooking Walnut Creek. Two unimproved trails provide access to Walnut Creek.

Rules: Trails are open daylight hours. Please stay on trails and
carry out all your trash. Overnight camping, campfires, motorized vehicles, alcohol, smoking, hunting and paint ball guns are prohibited.
Mountain bikes and pets are prohibited on trails at the Nature Center on the east side of Asbury Road. Bikes and pets on a leash are permitted on identified Greenway trails on the west side of Asbury
Road to Brown's Farm on Sterrettania Road. Bikes yield to pedestrians. Clean up after your pet.
Directions
Asbury Woods is located at 4105 Asbury Road, 1/4 south of West
38th Street in Millcreek Township in Erie County, Pa.
From ErieTravel west on West 38th Street to the four-way stop at Asbury Road
(Asbury Elementary School is on the southwest corner). Turn south on Asbury Road and travel 1/4 mile to the Asbury Woods entrance.
From the South, East or West
Travel I-90 to Exit 5, Sterrettania Road/Rt. 832. Go north to West 38th Street, travel west on West 38th Street to the four-way stop at Asbury
Road (Asbury Elementary School is on the southwest corner). Turn south on Asbury Road and travel 1/4 to the Asbury Woods entrance. |
