With Gratitude

JF article

We recently asked for donations to help offset lost revenue due to closing the Nature Center and cancelling programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. We asked and you answered! I’m so grateful to each person and family who made a donation over the past three weeks. Your outpouring of support has meant the world to Asbury Woods as we maneuver through this crisis. As the world around us changed at break-neck speed, our donors and supporters told us loud and clear that their steadfast belief in and appreciation for Asbury Woods was unwavering.

Beyond the incredible financial support, I am personally so thankful for all the wonderful calls, emails, and text messages I received from Asbury Woods supporters telling us how important Asbury Woods was to you, sharing memories of time spent on the trails, pictures of your favorite spots at Asbury Woods and so many other incredible words of encouragement. Myself and the entire Asbury Woods staff treasures the environmental education, nature appreciation and outdoor recreation mission that Asbury Woods represents and with your help, we’ve been able to carry on with that mission despite the revenue challenges.

Your support has ensured we are still caring for the animals that live in our exhibit hall, we’re keeping the trails open and maintained for the thousands of visitors who are finding comfort, activity and well-being lies within our 205 acres and our team is presenting an awesome variety of online educational and recreational content to replace our in-person programs.

The support and encouragement of our donors and friends is helping to keep us moving forward. I’m so grateful to each of you for being there for Asbury Woods right now. We promise to continue to be here for you as well.

From the Woods with my deepest appreciation,

Jennifer Signature
