In February, Asbury Woods welcomed Leann Sestak and Lucy Mendoza to the the team.
Leann Sestak
Leann serves as our Communications Coordinator and works with each department to highlight what's happening at Asbury Woods. She is an Erie native and graduated from Mercyhurst University with a Bachelors' Degree in Strategic Communication. Leann has a strong background in nonprofit and environmental communication. After graduating, she served as an AmeriCorps*VISTA member facilitating community garden programs at Gannon University. Upon completing her two years with AmeriCorps*VISTA, she managed communications and project development at Environment Erie.

Lucy Mendoza
Lucy Mendoza joined Asbury Woods as the Visitor Services Associate to greet and provide information to weekend guests. Lucy graduated from Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA with a degree in Communication and Media Studies. Prior to accepting this position, Lucy served as the Community Relations Intern with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and is the Human Resource Clerk for Erie County Convention Authority.
