On Erie Gives Day, 328 donors gave a total of $41,469.85, our most successful year to date! Your thoughtful donation on Erie Gives Day leveraged a prorated matching gift from the Erie Community Foundation, making donations go even further.
This generous donation comes at a time when we need it most as we continue to adapt during the pandemic.
Moving Forward in 2020
Supporters like you are making it possible for us to still offer meaningful environmental education through a variety of methods, to protect the 205 acres we are responsible for stewarding and to connect an ever-wider circle of people to the power and beauty of the natural world.
Here's what we're looking forward to the rest of the year:
- We'll be opening the doors to the Nature Center on the weekends in September and October.
- Our educators are busy adapting our environmental science cirriculum, giving schools four different delivery methods to choose from.
- We're hosting limited-attendee events and virtual events.
- Hosting students for School Day Drop-in for 1-4 graders to support parents during the work day.
- Getting outside after-school with Outdoor Explorer Club with 5-8 graders.
