Backyard Beekeeping Workshops

These classes are designed to give the beginner background information on honey bees, equipment needed, proper maintenance, and honey harvesting. 

Beekeepers can also purchase Mann Lake beekeeping supplies from the Squeaky Frog Gift Shop at Asbury Woods, including special orders. All proceeds from beekeeping supplies support Asbury Woods and our mission of environmental education and awareness.

Backyard Beekeeping | Wednesday Series

Dates: Wednesdays, April 1 – April 22
Time: 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.
Location: Nature Center
Includes book Starting Right with Bees.
Supporting Donor Fee: $65 | General Admission: $75

Join our volunteer beekeeper, Charlie Schroeck, and learn all of  the aspects necessary to be a successful backyard beekeeper. This is a four week workshop.
