Interested in starting your own backyard hive? Join us for one of two programs to learn all the aspects necessary to be a successful backyard beekeeper.

Saturday, February 9

Join NWPA Beekeeper Association members Peggy and Ross Bell and learn all of the aspects necessary to be a successful backyard beekeeper. This class is designed to give the beginner background information on honey bees, equipment needed, proper maintenance and honey harvesting. Lunch is provided.

Wednesdays, April 3 - 24

Join our volunteer beekeeper, Charlie Schroeck, and learn all of the aspects necessary to be a successful backyard beekeeper. This four week workshop will include background information on honey bees, equipment needed, and proper maintenance and honey harvesting.
