Nature Nurtures

Thank you for being a supporter of Asbury Woods.  Your participation as a donor, program attendee or volunteer means you value Asbury Woods and what we offer to the community.  I’m pleased to share the Annual Report with you which highlights the impact we had during the 2017-2018 fiscal year.  Thanks to community support, we were able to positively impact more than 71,000 people of all ages.

In the coming months and years, continued support of our mission to provide environmental, educational and outdoor recreational opportunities will be critical as we expand and diversify community programming, implement updates to our curriculum-based school programs and make critical investments in our facilities and grounds.

Generous donors are the foundation of our ability to share our love and respect for nature with a broad audience, inspire youth to explore hands-on science learning and provide a peaceful and beautiful place for outdoor recreation and the pursuit of a healthy lifestyle.  The modest fees paid for school visits, public programs and festival attendance only cover about one-third of the annual operating budget.  Donations make it possible for us to keep the Nature Center and the 205 acres of property free and open to the public, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to learn, explore, and connect with the natural world.  Gifts also help us provide innovative science learning opportunities to the thousands of school children who come here each year.

Please consider joining me as a donor to Asbury Woods for the coming year.  Your support helps us touch the hearts, minds, bodies and souls of those who engage with Asbury Woods.  As a donor to Asbury Woods, you can be part of something remarkable and help to bring our mission to life for all who visit.

Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.

From the Woods,

Jennifer Farrar
