For more than 40 years, Asbury Woods has provided our community with a special place to enjoy nature and learn more about our environment. Donations, program fees,
memberships and gift shop sales generate the resources needed to continue to provide our programs and services.
Contributions to one of our three funds will enable children and adults from throughout

ANNUAL OPERATING FUND
You may be surprised to
learn that Asbury Woods receives no funds from the township, county or state for operations. Each year the nature preserve must raise its own operating funds for educational programs, exhibits and trail
improvements. Last year, Asbury Woods raised more than $95,000 in operating funds.
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND
Needing $3.7 million to implement its comprehensive Master Plan,
Asbury Woods has embarked on the center1s first major philanthropy effort. This campaign provides for one of the most significant environmental preservation and improvement projects in the history of the
region and encompasses Asbury Woods Nature Center, Brown1s Farm, Greenway Trail and Asbury Community Park. The Friends of Asbury Woods board is in the midst of raising the funds needed to match a state
grant of $1.7 million.
ASBURY WOODS ENDOWMENT FUND
A gift ot the Asbury Woods Endowment Fund is a perfect way to honor a loved one or special occasion while also helping to ensure the
future of Asbury Woods. All contributions to Asbury Woods are deposited in an interest-bearing account from which only the interest is used to fund operations and improvements. This ensures that the gift
keeps on giving in perpetuity.
