JOB ANNOUNCEMENT – Year Round Part time position
Asbury Woods Partnership Office Assistant:
Asbury Woods Partnership, Inc. is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to fill the part-time Office Assistant position. The Office Assistant is a part time position of 10-15 hours per week. Hours may vary based on office work load. Office Assistant will complete office tasks as directed by the Partnership Coordinator.
SALARY: $10.00 per hour with no benefits. Security/background investigations required prior to start of employment.
The Office Assistant will complete tasks including: filing, data input, typing, copying, prepare mailings, answering telephone, greeting patrons & fielding questions.
Office Assistant registers and assists the patrons in filling out forms for public programs and summer camp registrations. Assist staff and volunteers with Gift Shop sales as needed. Close Gift Shop daily, and reconcile daily sales & cash register receipts.
The Office Assistant will help with donor database input & donor thank you letters processed as directed by Partnership Coordinator or Development Coordinator.
The Office Assistant may work weekends as needed. Additional hours are available to work weekends as needed to back-up weekend staff working in the gift shop or assist with festivals and special events.

CAREER-ORIENTED VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH
Asbury Woods offers several career-oriented volunteer opportunities for young people throughout the year such as our Explorer Post 808. This program offers career-oriented, co-ed learning experiences for 15-21 year olds in the areas of environmental education, teaching, and biology.
